So this is a blog? All-in-all not too difficult to figure out, even for someone who is as much of a tech novice as myself. Emily suggested I start this, so I will dedicate my first “blog” entry, more of a damn diary if you ask me, to her.
Went to the park with Em today. She couldn’t stop gushing about all of the dogs running around playing fetch. I don’t think anything would make her happier right now than having a beautiful little puppy of her own running around. She is always going on about how long she has waited to get her own puppy and how she doesn’t think it will ever happen. Perhaps when the time is right, maybe around Christmas *wink*, she will get her wish.
She looked adorable in the sweater I bought her. She has no idea that the girl behind the counter picked it out; That I wasn’t even sure of her size and had to use the ol’, “she is about your size” line. I wouldn’t be heartbroken if she never found out either. Getting a few extra brownie points for knowing the new styles and being so accurate with her body type is a big plus in my book.
After we sat and watched the dogs race back and forth, we took a nice walk down to the creek. There was no trail so it was a little treacherous – I fell in the creek at one point. The stench from the water was damn near unbearable. I will have to mention it to the park attendant next time we are there. Didn’t get any visible injuries, but my ankle has had that prickly sleeping appendage feel to it – millions of little pin pricks – since I got home. I probably just twisted it a little bit.
Wow, this blog thing is pretty addictive. Then again, I could talk about my time with Em until the Sun burned out and the Earth froze to death…
It is pretty late though so that’s it for tonight.
